Review Last Year’s 2023 Calendar of Events!

Brewster Band Spring Concert! Friday, May 3, 7:00 p.m. at Brewster Baptist Church. The Band kicks off the season with its first (indoor!) concert before heading outside to Drummer Boy Park for the summer. With John E. New conducting, their annual Brewster in Bloom Concert is in conjunction with the Brewster in Bloom weekend celebration.  Admission is free and free will donations will be accepted to support the Bands’ future programs.  

Brewster in Bloom Fine Arts & Crafts Show, May 4 & 5 at the Bay Property (former Cape Cod Sea Camps). And we’re so happy to welcome everyone to this “first-of-season” open-air arts and crafts show on Cape Cod! Saturday’s show is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday’s is 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Parking this year is $5 per vehicle to benefit the Scholarship Fund. Admission to the show is  FREE!! 

Cape Cod 5 Bloom Run, Saturday, May 4 steps off at 10 a.m. (rain or shine!) from the Brewster Inn & Woodshed, Route 6A in Brewster!  Registration opens in the Inn’s parking lot at 8:30 a.m. for this 5K, 3.1 mile-run/walk. For this event the MYLAPS B-Tag Timing System is used. Entry Fee is $40 per person or $25 for participants aged 12 and under. Fee includes event t-shirt if paid by April 14. Brewster in Bloom Town Parade, Sunday, May 5th: “Enchantment Under the Sea” Sponsored by Brewster Inn/Woodshed. The parade steps off from Eddy Elementary School parking lot at 1 p.m. and goes west on Route 6a to Swamp Road. Click here to download the application form!

SEA CAPTAIN FOSTER HOMESTEAD – Open House: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday May 5 – 7, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. with Tours of the Gardens at 1 p.m. Sea Captain Foster Homestead is a 1799 home with a Heritage Barn available for events and community programs. The property is returning to its historical best. Gardens are usually full of blossoms throughout the warm season. BREWSTER HISTORICAL SOCIETY – Cobb House Museum Open House and “White Lady” Ceremony: Saturday, May 6th, 1 – 4 p.m. Welcome the return of the “White Lady” figurehead to Brewster: ceremony at 2 p.m.! Museum exhibits for the new season include Brewster Women at Sea, and Brewster Whalemen.  All guests are also welcome to visit the newly completed vintage Woodworking Shop in the Cobb House Annex.
